what does it is? it's a new software to convert ascii GPS (tom tom text) poi files to a bmw navigator compatible version.

Yep!! what's inside our bmw navigator? nothing special.. a bsd(unix) operating system embedding a web server (apache?) with cgi/perl estension. For that i had to recreate certain perl native function inside win environment, this could make little difference in output files. but... let's try!!
DVD version
BmwPoi create only 2006/2 dvd version file format. Does someone really need older one?
File format
At this time the ascii input file must be a csv(comma separed) file containing 4 fields
example:
;Longitude,Latitude,Name,Country
5.5427,50.1603,"Chysauster Ancient Village","ENGLAND"
5.0511,50.1383,"Pendennis Castle","FRANCE"
5.0237,50.148,"St Mawes Castle","SPAIN"

finally..i had some time to fix a m$ bug related to different windows library version.. .But now program should been running on every os. not tested on Vi$ta.

what elsein this installation package is included version 0.9.0 either, just in case...
